120,000 Worshippers Perform Eid Prayers at Al-Aqsa Mosque

Occupied Jerusalem: Some 120,000 worshippers performed Eid al-Fitr prayers at Al-Aqsa Mosque in Occupied Jerusalem today.

According to Qatar News Agency, the Jerusalem Governorate noted in a brief statement that 120,000 worshippers gathered for the Eid prayers in both the courtyards and inside Al-Aqsa Mosque. This occurred despite the stringent measures imposed by Israeli occupation authorities.

The Israeli authorities enforce numerous restrictions on thousands of Palestinians from the occupied West Bank, preventing them from accessing Jerusalem to participate in prayers at Al-Aqsa Mosque.

Numerous Palestinian and international human rights organizations have deemed these restrictions a violation of human rights and freedom of worship. They have called for attention to be drawn to the current situation, emphasizing the necessity for solutions that ensure Palestinians’ right to access their places of worship.
