Mersin: Five people were killed and 14 others injured Tuesday when a minibus carrying workers overturned in Mersin province, southern Trkiye.
According to Qatar News Agency, a minibus carrying farmworkers overturned in a ditch in the Erdemli district of the province, resulting in five fatalities and 14 injuries. The injured were transported to nearby hospitals for treatment, and investigations are ongoing at the scene.
This incident follows a similar accident last May in the Soma district of Manisa province, western Trkiye, where a minibus overturned, killing one person and injuring 13 others.
