Beirut: Two people were killed on Sunday in separate Israeli airstrikes targeting towns in southern and eastern Lebanon.
According to Qatar News Agency, the Lebanese Ministry of Health reported that an airstrike hit a vehicle in the town of Naqoura in the Tyre district in southern Lebanon, resulting in one fatality. Another person was killed in a separate strike aimed at a vehicle in Nabi Sheet in the Baalbek district.
The ministry also noted that one person was injured by the explosion of an unexploded ordnance in the town of Aytaroun, also located in southern Lebanon.
