Doha: Algerian President Abdelmadjid Tebboune on Sunday officially appointed Sifi Ghrieb as Prime Minister, just days after naming him Acting Prime Minister following the termination of Noureddine Bedoui’s duties.
According to Qatar News Agency, President Tebboune tasked Ghrieb with forming the new government. On August 28, President Tebboune issued a decree relieving former Prime Minister Noureddine Bedoui of his duties and appointing Industry Minister Sifi Ghrieb as Acting Prime Minister.
