Aqarat Announces Keys Updates for 3rd Qatar Real Estate Forum

Doha: The Real Estate Regulatory Authority (Aqarat) announced the key updates for the third Qatar Real Estate Forum. The event is set to take place under the patronage of HE Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulrahman bin Jassim Al-Thani from Oct. 12 to 14, 2025, at the Doha Exhibition and Convention Center (DECC), in conjunction with Cityscape Qatar.

According to Qatar News Agency, the forum is organized under the motto of “Aqarat’s Future,” building on the success of the previous two editions and establishing itself as a strategic platform that brings together decision-makers, experts, and investors. Chairman of Aqarat, Eng. Khalid Ahmed Saleh Al Obaidli, highlighted at a press conference that Aqarat will officially launch a comprehensive online services platform during the event. This platform will provide up-to-date real estate data and precise indicators to investors, allowing them to explore licensed projects through interactive maps and complete all procedures electronically.

Al Obaidli emphasized the strategic partnership with Saudi Arabia, the official guest of honor at the forum, as a representation of the deep relations between the two nations. A memorandum of understanding will be signed between Aqarat and the Saudi Real Estate General Authority, focusing on cooperation in legislative and technological areas and coordinating efforts to advance the real estate sector in both countries.

Eng. Al Obaidli announced the dedication of a comprehensive government pavilion within the forum’s events to promote an integrated investment environment. This pavilion will feature several key public agencies, including the Ministry of Interior, Ministry of Justice, Ministry of Commerce and Industry, Ministry of Municipality, Ministry of Labour, Civil Service and Government Development Bureau, and Invest Qatar, providing investors access to officials and guidance on procedures.

The forum will also see the launch of the inaugural Qatar Real Estate Award, designed to recognize significant milestones in the real estate sector. Developers, consultancy offices, and contractors are invited to participate in this award.

On the first day, the forum will discuss the roadmap for the real estate sector’s alignment with Vision 2030, regulatory policies, the future of the real estate market in the GCC, and other topics such as luxury destination development and Saudi Arabia’s experience in real estate technology legislation.

The second day will highlight real estate investment opportunities in Saudi Arabia, the effects of digital transformation on property promotion, and the sustainable multi-use building axis. The third day will feature sessions organized by Cityscape, providing practical advice for new real estate investors in Qatar.

At the press conference, numerous official sponsorship agreements for the forum’s events were announced, with leading companies supporting and emphasizing the pivotal role of the real estate sector in Qatar.

The forum serves as a leading annual platform for leaders, decision-makers, experts, investors, and developers in the real estate sector to engage in dialogue, share expertise, and anticipate future trends. It seeks to address global trends in sustainability, real estate technology, and smart city advancements to enhance the competitiveness of the Qatari market and reaffirm Qatar’s standing as a premier destination for real estate investment both regionally and internationally.
