Doha: The Civil Service and Government Development Bureau (CGB), represented by the Public Administration Institute, organized the orientation session for the second edition of the Sadara Program. The event was attended by HE Minister of Justice and Minister of State for Cabinet Affairs Ibrahim bin Ali Al Mohannadi, and HE President of CGB and Secretary-General of the National Planning Council Dr. Abdulaziz bin Nasser bin Mubarak Al Khalifa.
According to Qatar News Agency, the program was implemented in collaboration with the General Secretariat of the Council of Ministers, the Center for Legal and Judicial Studies at the Ministry of Justice, and the Qatar Finance and Business Academy (QFBA), with the participation of functionaries from the legal affairs departments of government agencies. The initiative is part of the preparation to launch the training program, which aims to qualify national talent in drafting legislation and unpacking policies, in addition to bolstering critical thinking and enhancing the nation’s legal governance tools.
The meeting opened with remarks from HE Director of the Public Administration Institute at CGB Maha Al Marri, followed by Chief Executive Officer of QFBA Dr. Khalifa Al Salahi. Thereafter, a primer video on the program’s objectives and implementation mechanism was screened, highlighting its impact on strengthening participants’ capabilities and improving the quality of legal work in government agencies.
The program primarily aims to build the capacities of legal affairs functionaries, both citizens and residents working in government agencies, through an integrated training approach that combines theoretical content with practical application. It includes field visits, panel discussions with top domestic and international experts, applied graduation projects, and a study tour to France in collaboration with the French National Institute of Public Service (INSP).
