Chinese Vice President Explores Cultural Riches at National Museum of Qatar


Doha: HE Vice President of the People’s Republic of China, Han Zheng, along with his delegation, explored the National Museum of Qatar (NMoQ) on Monday evening. This visit took place as part of his trip to Qatar for the Second World Summit for Social Development, which commences on Tuesday and will run until November 6.



According to Qatar News Agency, HE Chairperson of Qatar Museums, Sheikha Al Mayassa bint Hamad Al-Thani, accompanied HE Vice President Han Zheng during his tour of the museum. The Vice President engaged with the museum’s prominent collections housed in various galleries and received a comprehensive briefing about the exhibits’ valuable content.



The tour was also attended by CEO of Qatar Museums, Mohammed Saad Al Remaihi, and HE Director of the National Museum of Qatar, Sheikh Abdulaziz bin Hamad Al-Thani, who were present to provide insights and share the cultural significance of the museum’s collections.
