Doha: One person was killed Thursday in an airstrike carried out by the Israeli entity on a town in eastern Lebanon.
According to Qatar News Agency, the Israeli strike targeted the town of Kfardan, located in the Baalbek district in eastern Lebanon, resulting in the death of a civilian.
A ceasefire agreement in Lebanon came into effect on Nov. 27 of last year, stipulating the withdrawal of Israeli forces from southern border villages within 60 days. The Lebanese government later agreed to extend the deadline until February 18. However, the occupying army has remained stationed at five points and continues its violations.
