Doha: The Civil Service and Government Development Bureau (CSGDB), through its Institute of Public Administration, has formalized a joint scope of work with Hamad Bin Khalifa University (HBKU). This collaboration aims to cultivate government talents adept at innovation and to bolster the path toward sustainable development in Qatar.
According to Qatar News Agency, the signing event was graced by the presence of high-profile figures including HE CSGDB President and Secretary-General of the National Planning Council, Dr. Abdulaziz bin Nasser bin Mubarak Al Khalifa, and HBKU President, Dr. Ahmad M. Hasnah. The agreement was officially signed by Maha Masoud Al Marri, Director of the Institute of Public Administration, and Maria Bader Al Dafa, Executive Director of Strategic Planning and Partnerships at HBKU.
Maha Masoud Al Marri emphasized that this collaboration marks a pivotal step in enhancing national capacities. She highlighted their joint commitment to developing training programs and applied research that resonate with national priorities and future objectives. Al Marri expressed confidence that this partnership would play a crucial role in nurturing innovative government talents who can advance Qatar’s sustainable development trajectory.
Maria Bader Al Dafa from HBKU echoed the sentiment of collaboration, expressing pride in partnering with CSGDB. She noted that this alliance aligns with HBKU’s dedication to supporting national entities by providing policy recommendations, applied research, and training programs aimed at enhancing human capital in alignment with Qatar National Vision 2030.
The joint scope of work is designed to bolster scientific research, institutional growth, and the preparation of applied studies. It includes the creation of advanced training programs and the development of the “Kawader” national employment coordination platform using artificial intelligence. The agreement also seeks to foster innovation and entrepreneurship while strengthening partnerships between government and academic sectors, contributing to a more efficient governmental framework that supports the objectives of Qatar National Vision 2030.
