Settlers renewed their storming of the blessed Al-Aqsa Mosque from the Mughrabi Gate, under heavy protection by the occupation police.
Settlers carried out provocative tours and performed Talmudic rituals in the eastern part of the mosque, Palestinian News Agency (WAFA) reported.
This comes at a time as Israeli occupation forces intensify measures against Palestinians coming from Occupied Jerusalem to enter the Al-Aqsa Mosque, inspecting their IDs and briefly detaining them.
Since 2003, the Israeli occupation forces have allowed settlers to storm Al-Aqsa Mosque via Mughrabi Gate. The Islamic endowments department in Occupied Jerusalem has called on the Israeli occupation authorities, more than once, to prevent such incursions and provocations, but to no avail. (QNA)
