Doha: Egyptian Foreign Minister Badr Abdelatty held a phone call with Hussein Al Sheikh, Vice President of the State of Palestine, to discuss recent developments on the Palestinian front and the preparations for the Early Recovery, Reconstruction, and Development Conference in Gaza, which is set to be held in Egypt.
According to Qatar News Agency, the Egyptian Ministry of Foreign Affairs indicated that both sides underscored the importance of securing necessary international support for recovery and reconstruction efforts to fulfill the needs of the Palestinian people.
The conversation also addressed efforts to achieve reconciliation among Palestinian factions and to unify the Palestinian ranks during this critical period.
