Manama: Dr. Abdullatif bin Rashid Al Zayani, Minister of Foreign Affairs, met with Nasser Bourita, Minister of Foreign Affairs, African Cooperation and Moroccan Expatriates of Morocco, on the sidelines of the 79th session of the United Nations General Assembly. The meeting discussed the strong Bahrain-Morocco relations and means to further enhance cooperation. The two sides also discussed regional developments, particularly the war in the Gaza Strip and the growing tension and escalation. They highlighted the ongoing Arab and international efforts to achieve a permanent ceasefire in the Gaza Strip, and the efforts of the Joint Arab-Islamic Committee in this regard, during the current United Nations General Assembly session.
