France Experiences Slower Inflation Rate in October


Beirut: France’s annual inflation rate slowed in October, rising by 1.0 percent compared to 1.2 percent in the same month last year, according to preliminary data from the National Institute of Statistics and Economic Studies (INSEE).



According to Qatar News Agency, the inflation rate also eased from September’s 1.2 percent, driven by a 5.6 percent drop in energy prices and a deceleration in food price increases, which rose by 1.3 percent. Service prices remained stable, while manufactured goods saw a slightly sharper decline of 0.5 percent compared to the previous month.
