Riyadh: Secretary-General of the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) Jasem Mohamed Albudaiwi met Monday with Greek Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs Harry Theoharis to discuss GCC-Greece relations, Gulf-European ties, and ways to advance mutual interests. The meeting at the GCC General Secretariat headquarters in Riyadh included an exchange of views on regional and global developments, including the situation in the Gaza Strip and the Russian-Ukrainian crisis.
According to Qatar News Agency, both sides emphasised the importance of joint efforts to promote security and stability in the region and the world.
