General strike prevails in the Palestinian governorate of Jenin, mourning the four Palestinians killed by Israeli gunfire on Thursday.
Secretary-General of Fatah movement in Jenin, Ata Abu Rmeileh, said that Palestinians are observing a one-day general strike to mourn the killing of four Palestinians.
Ministry of Health said in a statement that four Palestinians were killed by undercover Israeli occupation soldiers who broke into downtown Jenin, while another 20 Palestinians were injured by gunfire.
The latest Israeli crime brings up the number of Palestinians killed by Israeli occupation forces since the beginning of the year to 88, including 16 children and an elderly woman.
The Palestinian governorates witnessed a general strike on Feb. 23 condemning the massacre committed by the Israeli occupation forces in the city of Nablus in the northern West Bank, which resulted in the death of 11 Palestinians and the injury of more than 100 others. (QNA)
