Acting Director General of General Security, Brigadier General Elias Baissari, on Wednesday received in his office, the Chairman of the Parliamentary Defense, Interior and Municipalities Committee, MP Jihad Samad.
Discussions reportedly touched on the latest developments and the current general situation.
Brigadier General Baissari later met in his office with the Japanese Ambassador to Lebanon, Magoshi Masayuki, with whom he discussed the situation in the region.
