HH the Amir Engages in Strategic Dialogue with Sultan of Oman

Doha: HH the Amir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al-Thani received a phone call today from his brother HM Sultan Haitham bin Tariq of the sisterly Sultanate of Oman. The conversation underscored the strong ties and mutual concerns shared by the leaderships of Qatar and Oman.

According to Qatar News Agency, HM the Sultan initiated the call to inquire about the wellbeing of Qatar's leadership and citizens in the aftermath of the recent Iranian aggression that targeted Qatari territory. This gesture was met with gratitude by HH the Amir, who expressed his appreciation for the genuine brotherly concern demonstrated by HM the Sultan.

The dialogue between the two leaders also encompassed discussions on the current security developments in the region. They deliberated on the implications of these developments for regional and international peace and stability. Both HH the Amir and HM the Sultan underscored the necessity of restraint and advocated for a return to diplomatic dialogue as a means to ensure security and stability in the region.
