Doha: Iraqi President Abdul Latif Jamal Rashid held talks Thursday with Greek Minister of Foreign Affairs George Gerapetritis, who is currently visiting Iraq, to discuss regional and international issues of mutual interest.
According to Qatar News Agency, during the meeting, both sides emphasized the importance of coordination on matters that contribute to strengthening the foundations of global security and stability. President Rashid stated that both countries possess promising potential to open new horizons for cooperation across various fields.
He noted Iraq’s commitment to expanding economic and investment partnerships and building effective collaborations that serve mutual interests and drive shared development and progress. For his part, the Greek Foreign Minister affirmed his country’s keenness to enhance bilateral relations and develop channels of dialogue and coordination in a way that benefits both nations and their peoples.
