Israeli Occupation Forces Detain 40 Palestinians in West Bank, Including Ex-Prisoners

Ramallah: The Israeli occupation forces have unleashed large-scale detention campaigns across the West Bank and Jerusalem, arresting as many as 40 Palestinians, including a child and ex-prisoners, the Palestinian Prisoner’s Society reported in a statement Monday.

According to Qatar News Agency, the detention operations and field investigations have primarily focused on the governorates of Ramallah and Al Bireh, Jericho, Salfit, Nablus, Hebron, Bethlehem, and Tulkarm. These areas have witnessed significant incursions and intimidation.

The measures are part of an escalating policy pursued by the Israeli occupation in the West Bank, which is intentionally directed toward terrorizing the Palestinians, restricting their movement, and tracking down activists and released prisoners.
