Amman: The border guard forces in the Eastern Military Zone thwarted an armed infiltration attempt by three individuals trying to illegally cross the eastern Jordanian border, the Jordanian military announced in a statement on Tuesday.
According to Qatar News Agency, the statement added that upon detecting the infiltration, the rules of engagement were enforced, leading to an exchange of fire that resulted in the deaths of three militants.
