Khalifa Open Squash Championship 2026 Concludes with Remarkable Performances in Doha


Doha: The first Khalifa Open Squash Championship 2026, organized by the Qatar Squash Federation at its courts, has concluded with the participation of national team players and contestants from various nationalities. Khaled Al Hamadi clinched the men’s professional category title after claiming first place, while Ali Odeh secured the second position. In the women’s category, Zoe Makarios captured the title, with Alhadiya Al Kuwari finishing as runner-up.



According to Qatar News Agency, in the boys’ U-19 category, Ali Al Darwish claimed first place, while Khaled Al Muhannadi came in second. In the boys’ U-17 category, Saad bin Fahad won first place, and Youssef Al Malki finished second. In the boys’ U-15 category, Saleh Khalifa secured first place, while Abdullah Al Shershni ranked second.



The boys’ U-13 category saw Muath bin Fahad crowned champion, with Omar Abu Hamad taking the runner-up position. In the boys’ U-11 category, Junaid Mansour achieved first place, while Nasser Al Amadi earned second. In the men’s over-45 category, Radwan Reda claimed first place, followed by Ahmed Mandour in second. In the men’s Level A category, Alexander Orlov won first place, with Ali Dorani finishing second.



Tournament Director Saad Al Muhannadi highlighted that this tournament witnessed an incredible performance from all participants, with many players taking a victory lap to celebrate their achievements. He added that the federation has been committed to hosting and organizing a series of local and international tournaments throughout the year, aiming to develop the level of Qatari players and prepare them optimally for upcoming competitions, in addition to expanding the base of players and promoting the sport widely across Qatar.
