Doha: HM King Philippe of the Kingdom of Belgium, alongside his delegation, visited the National Museum of Qatar on Monday. During his visit, he met with HE Chairperson of Qatar Museums, Sheikha Al Mayassa bint Hamad Al-Thani. The visit is part of his itinerary for participating in the Second World Summit for Social Development, which commences Tuesday and continues until November 6.
According to Qatar News Agency, the King of Belgium explored the museum’s notable exhibits within the various galleries. He received an in-depth explanation about the significant content on display, enhancing his understanding of Qatar’s cultural heritage.
HE Director of the National Museum of Qatar, Sheikh Abdulaziz bin Hamad Al-Thani, accompanied King Philippe throughout the visit, ensuring a comprehensive tour of the museum’s offerings.
