Kuwait city: A round of political consultations was held today between Kuwait and Bangladesh to enhance bilateral cooperation between the two countries. The Bangladeshi side was headed by Undersecretary of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Mohammad Nazrul Islam, while the Kuwaiti side was led by Assistant Foreign Minister for Asian Affairs, Samih Jawhar Hayat.
According to Qatar News Agency, the consultations covered cooperation in the political, military, security, economic, and cultural fields, as well as cooperation in international forums, trade, investment, and specialized and skilled labor. The discussions aimed at strengthening ties and exploring new avenues for collaboration.
The consultations also addressed aspects of cooperation in the fields of higher education, scientific research, civil aviation, oil, renewable energy, industry, and food security. Both sides explored a number of issues related to the health sector, medical services, and other areas of mutual interest.
