Kuwait city: Kuwait Bourse closed trading on Monday as the All Share Index gained 22.95 points to reach 8,682.29 points, an increase of 0.27 percent.
According to Qatar News Agency, a total of 198.2 million shares valued at KWD 67.19 million (roughly USD 205 million) were traded via 19,8.2 transactions. The Main Market Index saw a rise of 8.93 points, reaching 8,067.38 points, marking an increase of 0.11 percent. This was achieved through 69.2 million shares executed via 5,415 transactions valued at KWD 13.3 million (roughly USD 40.5 million).
The Premier Market Index also experienced growth, gaining 27.18 points to reach 9,263.23 points, up by 0.29 percent. This was facilitated by the trading of 129 million shares through 8,516 transactions valued at KWD 53.8 million (roughly USD 164 million).
In contrast, the bourse Main 50 Index decreased by 5.28 points to reach 8,601.07 points, a decline of 0.06 percent. This occurred through a stock volume of 59.8 million shares conducted in 4,121 deals at a value of KWD 11.4 million (roughly USD 34.7 million).
