Ministry of Environment and Climate Change Recognizes Contributors to 2025 Summer Environmental Club


Doha: The Ministry of Environment and Climate Change honored students, sponsors, lecturers, environmental leaders, and supervisors who participated in the second edition of the 2025 Summer Environmental Club during a ceremony organized by the ministry.



According to Qatar News Agency, the two-week club engaged 20 students through lectures, workshops, practical activities, and field visits, focusing on environmental sustainability and climate change issues. HE Minister of Environment and Climate Change Dr. Abdullah bin Abdulaziz bin Turki Al Subaie emphasized that the club is an initiative aimed at enhancing youth awareness of environmental issues and educating them on current challenges. He commended the participants for their engagement and innovative ideas, which highlight the younger generation’s understanding of the importance of environmental protection and alignment with Qatar National Vision 2030.



HE Dr. Al Subaie also acknowledged the cooperation of partners such as the United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (UNESCO), along with lecturers and supervisors, for their role in making complex environmental concepts accessible to students.



The ceremony wrapped up with the distribution of certificates and commemorative shields to students and participating organizations, recognizing their contributions to the success of the club’s second edition.
