Doha: The Ministry of Commerce and Industry (MOCI) affirmed the availability of goods and products in various retail outlets across the country, ensuring that consumer needs are adequately and regularly met.
According to Qatar News Agency, the MOCI, in a post on its official X account on Sunday, urged the public to adhere to guidelines issued by official authorities, purchase according to need, and promote a culture of conscious consumption. The ministry emphasized the importance of relying on official sources and avoiding rumors that could lead to excessive and unnecessary stockpiling, which may cause damage to goods due to disuse.
The ministry also called on consumers to buy according to actual needs, tailored to the family's requirements for a reasonable period, and recommended preparing a list of essential goods in advance to avoid random purchases. It further advised diversifying purchase outlets to benefit from alternatives and reduce pressure on a specific point of sale.
