Morocco: Morocco will host the 70th World Congress of the International Federation of Tourism Journalists and Writers (IFTAJW) from November 19 to 25. The event promises to be a significant gathering for tourism journalists and writers worldwide.
According to Qatar News Agency, the conference is organized by the Moroccan Ministries of Tourism and Youth, and Culture and Communication, and will see the participation of more than 250 journalists from 70 countries. The gathering aims to foster discussions and collaboration among global tourism media professionals.
The Moroccan Association of Tourism Journalists and Writers stated that the theme “Tourism and the Media: What Relationship and What Future?” will be the focus of discussion during the various seminars and meetings included in the conference program. These discussions will also address the role of the media in promoting tourism, providing a platform for exchanging ideas and strategies.
It is worth noting that Morocco is hosting this conference for the third time, following the 2004 and 2018 editions. This recurring opportunity underscores Morocco’s commitment to advancing tourism and media relations on a global scale.
