social media accounts to increase awareness and stimulate community participation.
This initiative is in line with the vision of the National Sport Day, which is held based on Amiri Resolution No. 80 of 2011.
Al Dosari noted that registration for the National Sport Day Award 2025 was opened earlier this month, with participation continuing until July 31, and that the winning entities from state institutions, the private sector, and commercial companies will be honored during the Sports and Youth Excellence Award ceremony in September 2025.
The member of the National Sport Day Committee pointed out that more than 250 events were held last year as part of the National Sport Day activities.
The terms and conditions for the National Sport Day Award include the participating entities promoting their sports events via social media using the hashtags (#In_Time) and (#Sport_Is_Life), in addition to referring to the National Sport Day account, as well as documenting the events by photographing them and publishing
them on the participating entities’ accounts on social media, in addition to filling in the event form available on the Ministry of Sports and Youth’s website, including details of the event and the number of participants.
The points for the award will be calculated based on several axes, including the number of organized events, event days, number of participants, and number of participants from entities in the Sports for All events calendar
