Muscat: The eighth round of political consultations between Belgium and the Sultanate of Oman took place, focusing on enhancing bilateral cooperation and addressing mutual interests. The session was led by Theodora Gentzis, the Secretary-General of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs for Belgium, and Sheikh Khalifa bin Ali Al Harthy, the Undersecretary of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs for Political Affairs for Oman.
According to Qatar News Agency, the discussions centered on strengthening ties in clean energy, ports, and logistics, as well as technical and consular cooperation. The talks also included an exchange of views on several regional and international issues of common interest. Both parties reaffirmed their commitment to working together on these fronts, aiming to bolster the relationship between the two nations.
