Muscat: Omani Foreign Minister Badr bin Hamad Al Busaidi engaged in discussions with his visiting Iraqi counterpart, Fuad Hussein, focusing on cooperation between the two nations and exploring avenues to strengthen ties across various domains.



According to Qatar News Agency, the meeting between the two ministers also delved into the latest regional and international developments. They underscored the importance of maintaining coordination and consultation to bolster efforts aimed at reinforcing security, stability, and peace in the Middle East. The discussions emphasized the pursuit of peaceful solutions, dialogue, diplomacy, and the respect for state sovereignty and international law principles.
