Pakistan’s Army Announces Elimination of 58 Militants in Security Operations

Islamabad: The Pakistani army announced the elimination of 58 militants during security operations in various areas of southwestern Pakistan.

According to Qatar News Agency, the army reported that security forces conducted two operations relying on intelligence on militant movements in Balochistan province in the southwest of the country. The statement added that during the operation, security forces were able to eliminate 58 militants.

It is worth noting that the Pakistani army has recently intensified its security operations in several border regions, including Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and Balochistan provinces, as part of its efforts to combat armed groups active in those areas. These operations have resulted in the deaths of dozens of militants, in a move that falls within a broader strategy to enhance stability and address security challenges.
