Arraba: A Palestinian boy was wounded on Tuesday after Israeli forces raided the town of Arraba, south of Jenin, in the occupied West Bank. The Palestinian Red Crescent Society said in a statement that its medical teams transported a 12-year-old to a hospital after he was shot by Israeli forces.
According to Qatar News Agency, Israeli troops entered the town earlier in the day, deploying military vehicles and firing live ammunition at residents.
In a separate incident, Israeli forces detained six Palestinians in the town of Idhna, west of Hebron. Local sources said the arrests occurred while the individuals were on land in the eastern Soba area that is under threat of confiscation. Another Palestinian, aged 15, was detained in the village of Tayasir, east of Tubas.
Cities, towns, and refugee camps across the occupied West Bank and East Jerusalem have witnessed daily raids, land clearing operations, and property seizures by Israeli forces and settlers. These incursions often involve confrontations, arrests, and the use of live fire, rubber bullets, and tear gas. The frequency of such operations has intensified since Israel launched its ongoing military campaign in Gaza on Oct. 7, 2023.
