Gaza: Several Palestinians, including children, were martyred Monday after the Israeli occupation bombed a tent sheltering displaced people in Khan Younis, in the southern Gaza Strip. A Palestinian man, his wife, and their two children were martyred, while their young daughter was critically wounded, following an airstrike on a tent housing displaced people in the Mawasi area, west of Khan Younis.
According to Qatar News Agency, the Israeli artillery also shelled Al-Midan area in the Beit Lahia project in northern Gaza, as well as areas in the south and west of Gaza City in central Gaza, and northern and western parts of Rafah in the south. The Israeli Occupation forces have continued their aggression on the Gaza Strip by land, sea, and air since Oct. 7, 2023, resulting in the martyrdom of 43,846 Palestinians, the majority of whom are women and children, and the injury of 103,740 others.
Thousands of victims remain trapped under rubble or in the streets, with rescue teams unable to reach them. The ongoing c
onflict has exacerbated the humanitarian crisis in the region, with critical resources and aid unable to reach those in dire need. The international community continues to monitor the situation closely, urging for an end to the hostilities and the protection of civilians.
