Doha: HE Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulrahman bin Jassim Al-Thani received a phone call on Wednesday from HH Minister of Foreign Affairs of the United Arab Emirates Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan.
According to Qatar News Agency, during the call, HH the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the UAE expressed the UAE’s solidarity with Qatar, condemning the Israeli attack on the residential headquarters of several Hamas leaders. He described the attack as a criminal act and a clear violation of international laws and norms, posing a threat to the security of Qatar and the region. He emphasized the UAE’s support for Qatar in any measures it may take to ensure its security and sovereignty.
In response, HE the Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs reiterated Qatar’s commitment to taking all necessary actions to safeguard its security and maintain its sovereignty in light of the Israeli attack.
