Jerusalem: Dozens of colonists on Monday forced their way in groups into the Al-Aqsa Mosque, escorted by Israeli occupation police, the Jerusalem Governorate reported.
According to Qatar News Agency, it was noted that the colonists conducted provocative tours and Talmudic rituals while under the protection of the Israeli occupation forces. These actions have heightened tensions in the area, as the mosque has increasingly been subjected to such intrusions.
The incursions by the colonists have escalated since the recent flare-up of Israeli aggression against the Gaza Strip. This situation is seen as a serious escalation and a desecration of the Mosque, further inflaming the already volatile situation in the region.
