Qatar and US Sign ‘Pax Silica’ Declaration to Enhance Technological Cooperation

Doha: In a strategic move to bolster bilateral relations, the State of Qatar and the United States signed the "Pax Silica" Declaration in Doha yesterday. The agreement marks a significant step in enhancing cooperation between the two nations in the realm of advanced technologies and supply chain security, with the broader aim of supporting global economic stability and security.

According to Qatar News Agency, Al-Sharq newspaper emphasized that Qatar's accession to the Pax Silica initiative aligns with the country's national priorities. This move is part of Qatar's broader ambition to establish itself as a regional and international hub for advanced technologies and artificial intelligence. Furthermore, this initiative supports the objectives of Qatar National Vision 2030 and the Third National Development Strategy 2024-2030, which aim to foster a competitive and sustainable digital economy.
