The State of Qatar and the World Health Organization held a strategic dialogue yesterday aimed at discussing existing and future opportunities for cooperation and partnership between Qatar and the World Health Organization, at the headquarters of the World Health Organization in Geneva.
Qatar delegation at the opening session of the strategic dialogue was led by H.E. Dr. Hanan Mohamed Al-Kuwari, Minister of Public Health, and in the presence of H.E Mr. Khalifa bin Jassim Al-Kuwari, Director General of the Qatar Fund for Development, while the WHO delegation was headed by Dr. Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus, Director-General of the World Health Organization, and Dr. Ahmed Al-Mandhari, WHO Regional Director for the Eastern Mediterranean.
