Cairo: The State of Qatar took part in a crucial meeting of Permanent Representatives to the League of Arab States, held at the League’s General Secretariat headquarters. The meeting was centered on preparations for the upcoming 10th meeting between Permanent Representatives to the League and Ambassadors of the Political and Security Committee of the Council of the European Union (EU), which is set to take place in Brussels, Belgium, on November 4.
According to Qatar News Agency, Maryam Ahmed Al Shaibi, acting Charg© d’Affaires at the Embassy of the State of Qatar to the Arab Republic of Egypt and its Permanent Representative to the League of Arab States, led Qatar’s delegation at the meeting. The discussions aimed to deepen relations between Arab and EU countries and improve mechanisms for joint cooperation.
The Permanent Representatives received updates on the ongoing preparations for the Brussels meeting, including discussions on the press statement to be adopted. There was a collective expression of hope among the representatives to enhance cooperation, aligning with the aspirations and ambitions of both the Arab and European parties.
