Doha: The Qatar Society of Engineers (QSE) successfully concluded the Qatar International Facility Management Conference and Exhibition (QIFMCE) 2025, along with the LED Power Expo 2025, following three days of scientific and technical momentum.
According to Qatar News Agency, the Chairperson of the Board of Directors of QSE, Eng. Amna Mohammed Al Naama, hailed the monumental success of the conference, highlighting the high-profile participation and robust scientific discussions at the event. QSE has successfully organized a leading engineering event befitting Qatar’s prominence, showcasing the capabilities of Qatari engineers in taking on the mantle of transition to a more sustainable and efficient future, Al Naama said.
She added that the society will continue to transform the conference’s outcomes into practical initiatives that bolster the advancement of the national engineering sector. Al Naama further pointed out that the outcomes and recommendations are focused on the facility management sector and contribute to enhancing the efficiency of operating buildings and facilities, in addition to upscaling the level of engineering services and pursuing sustainable solutions and smart technologies in support of Qatar National Vision 2030 in the areas of sustainability and quality of life.
Participants underlined that both the conference and exhibition have deepened the nation’s standing as a hub for innovation and engineering knowledge in the region. They noted that the outcomes represent a critical step toward advancing state-of-the-art policies and practices in the fields of facility management and sustainable energy.
Upon wrapping up the event, researchers were honored for presenting meritorious scientific working papers, in recognition of their contributions to nurturing the conference’s research content. In addition, curators, speakers, and participating stakeholders were also honored for their role in delivering a high-stakes, successful engineering event.
