Doha: Qatar’s U-17 handball team will face South Korea on Tuesday in their third and final Group B match at the inaugural U-17 World Championship, currently taking place in Morocco. Qatar aims to secure a victory to conclude the group stage positively, having already achieved a win against Tunisia with a score of 38-30 and experiencing a defeat to Spain, ending 23-41.
According to Qatar News Agency, Spain leads Group B with four points, while Qatar and Tunisia both have two points each. South Korea is currently at the bottom without any points. The structure of the championship dictates that the group winners from the three groups will advance directly to the semifinals, joined by the best second-placed team.
