Doha: Egypt on Tuesday condemned in the strongest terms the attacks targeting Jordan, describing them as a violation of its sovereignty, a dangerous escalation threatening its security and stability, and a development that further heightens regional tensions. In a statement, Egypt's Ministry of Foreign Affairs affirmed Egypt's full solidarity with Jordan and its complete support for all measures taken by the Kingdom to safeguard its security and stability and protect its sovereignty and territorial integrity.
According to Qatar News Agency, Egypt also reiterated its categorical rejection of any attacks that violate the sovereignty of states or threaten their security, calling for an immediate halt to all escalatory actions in order to help preserve regional security and stability.
