QSE Index Experiences Slight Decline in Trading Session


Doha: The Qatar Stock Exchange (QSE) closed its trading session on Sunday, with a slight decline of 1.28 points, or 0.01%, to stand at 11,362.43 points.



According to Qatar News Agency, during the session, a total of 240,680,045 shares were traded, with a value of QAR 450,476,101.883, resulting from the execution of 18,084 transactions across all sectors. The session saw the shares of 27 companies rise, while 21 companies’ shares declined, and five companies maintained their previous closing prices.



At the end of the trading session, the market capitalization stood at QAR 676,360,169,711.496 compared to QAR 676,275,627,502.300 in the previous session. The trading session reflected a mixed performance among the listed companies, indicating varied market responses across different sectors.
