Russian Defense Reports Repelling 9 Offensives, Shooting Down 283 Ukrainian Drones Near Pokrovsk City


Moscow: The Russian military forces have repelled nine Ukrainian offensives near Pokrovsk city in eastern Ukraine, when these attacks attempted to break the siege on the embattled Ukrainian military formations in the city, and shot down 383 Ukrainian drones there, the Russian Ministry of Defence said in a statement Sunday.



According to Qatar News Agency, the statement added that the Russian military units targeted the Ukrainian armed forces in 141 zones along the combat line, and took out 460 troops, in addition to destroying combat vehicles, artillery, munitions depots, and cyber warfare stations.



The ministry announced that the tactical operation aircraft, drones, and missile and artillery units of the Russian military launched an offensive on energy facilities, as well as the infrastructure of military airports, long-range UAV production facilities and launch sites, and a storage depot for unmanned boats.
