Turkish, Russian Presidents Discuss Bilateral Relations, Regional, International Issues


Doha: Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan discussed bilateral relations and regional and international issues in a phone call Tuesday with his Russian counterpart, Vladimir Putin. During the call, the Turkish president affirmed that his country is making efforts to ensure a ceasefire in the Gaza Strip and deliver humanitarian aid there.



According to Qatar News Agency, Erdogan also stressed the need to increase the momentum of diplomatic initiatives to end the war between Russia and Ukraine through a just and lasting peace, noting that Turkiye will continue to work to achieve peace.
