Doha: The Lebanese Ministry of Health announced Friday that 10 people were killed and 26 others were injured in Israeli raids on various areas in eastern Lebanon: The ministry said in a statement that the Israeli air force targeted the areas of Amhaz, Al Sharawneh, Taraya, Al Bazaliyah, Al-Khader, Al-Saeeda and Ras Al-Ain in the Baalbek Hermel Governorate in eastern Lebanon, which led to an initial death toll of ten people and the injury of 26 others.
According to Qatar News Agency, Lebanon has been subjected to Israeli aggression since October 2023, but since the end of last September, the Israeli army has increased the pace of air and artillery bombardment in an unprecedented manner, and expanded the scope of its targeting to extend to the capital, Beirut, killing and injuring thousands of Lebanese, in addition to forcing more than a million people to flee their homes.
