Gaza: Ten Palestinians were martyred and others injured Wednesday evening as a result of Israeli occupation forces' bombardment on the cities of Gaza and Khan Younis in the Gaza Strip.
According to Qatar News Agency, local sources reported that two citizens were killed by an Israeli drone strike targeting a group of people in central Khan Younis, in the southern part of the Strip. Five others were martyred - including four from the same family, three of whom were women - in an Israeli airstrike that hit a home in the Al-Amal neighborhood in the northwestern part of the city.
In Gaza City, the same sources indicated that a mother and her child were killed, and several civilians injured, following an Israeli airstrike on a residential building in the old city. Another citizen was also martyred in an airstrike targeting the Al-Sabra neighborhood in the southern part of Gaza City.
Hospital sources in Gaza reported that 89 Palestinians were killed by Israeli army fire since dawn today, including 52 in Gaza City alone. Earlier today, the Gaza Ministry of Health announced that the death toll from the Israeli aggression on the Strip since Oct. 7, 2023, has risen to 61,722 martyrs and 154,525 injured, the majority of whom are women and children.
