10th Edition of Hospitality Qatar Kicks Off with Global Participation

Doha: HE Chairman of Qatar Tourism (QT) and Chair of the Board of Directors of Visit Qatar Saad bin Ali Al Kharji inaugurated the 10th edition of Hospitality Qatar, a specialized event in hospitality, tourism, and the hotel, restaurant, and cafe sectors (HORECA). The exhibition, organized by IFP Qatar, is being held at the Doha Exhibition and Convention Center (DECC) and will run until October 30, 2025. It brings together senior officials, ambassadors, business leaders, and experts, marking a decade of success and growth in Qatar's hospitality industry.

According to Qatar News Agency, the event features 150 exhibitors, including 100 local and 50 international participants from 20 countries such as Argentina, Chile, India, the UAE, and more. This underscores the exhibition's role as a leading national platform connecting professionals across hospitality, hotels, and food and beverage services. The exhibition spans sectors like hotels and resorts, interior design, food and beverages, and technology solutions, highlighting Qatar's status as a regional hub for business and investment in hospitality and tourism.

Head of Tourism Development at QT Omar Abdulrahman Al Jaber emphasized the event's pivotal role in advancing Qatar's hospitality and tourism ecosystem. Over the years, the event has become a primary platform for local and international collaboration, encouraging investment and supporting excellence in the sector. Al Jaber noted a commitment to innovation and sustainable growth, aligning with Qatar's objectives of the Third National Development Strategy and Qatar National Vision 2030.

Director of Commercial Affairs and Operations at IFP Qatar Haya Bayan affirmed the significance of this milestone, as the premier event for the hospitality sector in the country. Bayan highlighted this year's focus on innovations in interior design, sustainability, technology, and food and beverages, offering local and international participants valuable opportunities to explore business prospects in a rapidly growing market.

This year's event is part of the Cultural Years Program, emphasizing cultural cooperation between Qatar, Argentina, and Chile, in collaboration with the Ministry of Commerce and Industry (MOCI) and Qatar Museums (QM). The program reflects Qatar's cultural diversity and global connectivity. Additionally, the event hosts prestigious competitions such as the Bocuse d'Or Qatar 2025 national qualifiers and the World Pastry Championship. The Ambassadors of Excellence ceremony, in partnership with QT, honors contributions to advancing Qatar's hospitality sector.

The 10th edition is supported by partners including QT, MOCI, Qatar Chamber of Commerce and Industry, and several prominent companies, reflecting the collaborative effort to drive growth in the hospitality sector.
