12 Injured in Fire at LPG Station in Western Indonesia

Bekasi: Twelve people were injured today in a fire that broke out at a liquefied petroleum gas (LPG) filling station in Bekasi, western Indonesia.

According to Qatar News Agency, a source at the local disaster mitigation agency in Indonesia reported that there were no deaths as a result of the fire, but 12 people were injured and are receiving the necessary treatment across several hospitals.

The source added that damage assessment is still underway at the 2,000-square-meter site, where at least three adjacent kiosks, six tanker trucks, and seven motorcycles sustained significant damage.

Coordination with the relevant authorities to assess the damage and assist in relief efforts is currently ongoing.
