Gaza City: 14 Palestinians were martyred and others wounded in raids and shelling carried out by the Israeli occupation forces today on various areas of the Gaza Strip.
According to Qatar News Agency, medical sources reported that five citizens, including women and children, were killed, and several others were injured due to Israeli shelling that targeted a group of citizens near Al-Shifa Tower on Izz Al-Din Al-Qassam Street west of Gaza City. Additionally, two others were killed in shelling that targeted the Aslan neighborhood west of Beit Lahia, north of the Gaza Strip.
The same sources reported that three citizens, including two brothers, were killed as a result of Israeli shelling that targeted the Rumeida area in the town of Abasan Al-Kabira, east of Khan Yunis, south of the Gaza Strip. Four civilians were also killed in shelling targeting other areas in the city, including the western line, the town of Abasan Al-Kabira, and the Ma'an area east of the city. Injuries also occurred due to artillery shelling around Asdaa Prison, west of the city.
Earlier today, the Palestinian Ministry of Health in Gaza announced the deaths of ten people and the wounding of others in new Israeli shelling of areas in the cities of Gaza and Khan Yunis.
