18 Palestinians Martyred in Israeli Strikes on Northern, Southern Gaza

GAZA CITY: Eighteen Palestinians were killed, with others injured, following Israeli airstrikes on various locations in the northern and southern Gaza Strip. The attacks are part of ongoing military actions in the region.

According to Qatar News Agency, the violence intensified with reports indicating that eight Palestinians lost their lives in an airstrike by Israeli forces on a road intersection west of Gaza City. In a separate incident, four Palestinians were killed during a bombardment near a mosque in the Al-Shati refugee camp, located in western Gaza. These strikes have resulted in numerous injuries among the local population.

In Khan Younis, a city in the southern Gaza Strip, six Palestinians were killed in an airstrike targeting a central building. Additionally, three individuals, including a woman, were injured when Israeli aircraft bombed a school that was being used to shelter displaced people in the northwest of Nuseirat, located in the central Gaza Strip. Israeli artillery also targeted areas near the Indonesian hospital in the northern part of the Strip.

Medical sources from the Gaza Strip have reported that a total of 52 Palestinians have been killed in airstrikes since dawn today. The ongoing Israeli military operations, initiated on October 7, 2023, have resulted in the deaths of 45,581 Palestinians, predominantly women and children, and injuries to 108,438 others. These numbers are expected to rise as many victims remain trapped under rubble or are scattered in the streets, with rescue operations hindered by Israeli-imposed restrictions.
